Scholarship Description:
We are seeking talented and motivated individuals with a strong interest in the molecular and cellular basis of refractory asthma and cancer. The research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of treatment resistance and developing new strategies to overcome this resistance in refractory asthma and cancer.
The ideal candidate is expected to independently develop the project and will have opportunities to collaborate with our multidisciplinary team within the lab and department. Our research team values creativity and independence in a collaborative academic environment.
Successful candidates will hold a Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology, immunology, signal transduction, or related fields, with strong publication support. Experience with airway smooth muscle cells and mouse models of asthma and/or cancer is advantageous.
Candidates will also assist in training lab staff and graduate students in research techniques and in writing grant proposals. This is a full-time, grant-funded position.
