Scholarship Description:

The successful applicant will conduct NIH-funded basic and translational research using various molecular, cellular, genomic tools, and advanced mouse models, applying this knowledge to develop rational therapeutic strategies in collaboration with clinical researchers.

All postdoctoral fellows will receive comprehensive training in project design and paper/grant writing, with opportunities to present their work at local, national, and international meetings, positioning them well for future independent research careers in academia or industry.

 Available Subjects:

  • Cancer signaling crosstalk
  • Transcriptional/epigenetic regulation of tumor plasticity
  • Effects of the tumor microenvironment on cancer cell lineage evolution
  • Mechanisms of resistance to cancer therapies 
  • Spatial epigenomics and tumor heterogeneity

Eligibility criteria:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a strong publication record and demonstrated skills in molecular and cell biology, genomics, and mouse genetics.
  • Prior experience in computer programming and bioinformatics is desired but not required.
