Scholarship Description:
Deep NeuroCognition Lab(https://a0091624.wixsite.com/deepneurocognition-1) at School of computer science and engineering, NTU aims to translate insights from cognitive science and neuroscience to push the frontiers of AI research.Meanwhile, use AI models to further our understanding of human cognition. We design and conduct psychophysics experiments that benchmark human and AI performance in vision tasks, identify research gaps, and bootstrap modern AI. We also develop novel computational models that help evaluate working hypotheses in human vision, and thereby, advance our understanding of biological perception. All of us in DeepNeuroCognition Lab seek to foster a welcoming, respectful and caring lab environment, where we support a diverse group of students and trainees of all levels regardless of their race, age, colour , national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, economic status and other characteristics and identities.
